Assessment and treatment tips including stability programmes, with video presentation. Ulnar sided wrist pain including midcarpal, TFCC, DRUJ and ECU tendosynovitis.

  1. To learn key surface anatomy, provocative testing and assessment hints and tips   
  2. Gain knowledge of potential differential diagnosis of ulnar sided wrist pain
  3. To gain theory and practical knowledge of sensory motor and neuromuscular treatment

Speaker Bios:

Nicola Goldsmith
MSc Dip COT SROT
Nicola is a highly specialised hand therapist with clinical, managerial and business development experience.  Currently she is loving juggling several jobs including at GripAble, Miriam May OT and NES.  GripAble is giving the opportunity to ensure the therapist and patient needs are at the core of development of GripAble as it launches into the market.  Working privately, enables Nicola to keep her clinical skills going and provides a wide variety of hand therapy challenges including trauma and acquired conditions.  Nicola is also current President of the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (2019-2022).

Elaine Juzl
MSc Grad Dip Phys MCSP
Elaine is a highly specialised hand therapist who has been working in the field since 1990.  Elaine is currently working as a clinical specialist hand therapist for BMI Heathcare in the West Midlands.  She has a Masters degree in Ergonomics and uses this knowledge building her speciality of management of WRULD and musicians.

Elaine has been a partner and teacher in NES Hand Therapy Training for 20 years

Elaine works as an autonomous practitioner and has been involved in the organisation and development of the Upper Limb Services in her last two posts

Sarah Mee
MSc, PG Dip, Dip COT, SROT
Currently the Consultant Hand Therapist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Regional Hand and Wrist unit, Sarah is a highly specialised hand therapist with more than 28 years of experience in hand and wrist therapy. Sarah has been a partner and teacher in NES Hand Therapy Training for 20 years.

Her first senior hand therapy post was at Mount Vernon Hospital. She went on to establish the hand units at UCH, East Grinstead and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals.
