Bio:
Originally from the UK and came to USA at the end of 1999 after finishing radiology training and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Center in Oxford, supposedly for a year of research, and somehow never left! Now an Associate Professor of Radiology and Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in musculoskeletal imaging, with a special interest in sports medicine, rheumatology and MR imaging around metal. Passionate about medical education and mentorship, as well as diversity and inclusion. Research interests include metal suppression MRI of patients with symptomatic implants and application of new MR pulse sequences in the evaluation of patients with osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthropathies.
