PART II (10:30 to 11:30AM using GoToMeeting): Pediatric Hand Therapy presented by Jennifer Chan, OTR, CHT
Overview of some common congenital hand conditions, and assessment and treatment considerations including orthoses designs.

Debby Schwartz is an experienced educator and lecturer with a demonstrated history of teaching in the hand therapy community. Skilled in Outpatient Orthopedics, conducting Orthotic fabrication workshops and writing a bout hand therapy topics. Strong writing skills (multiple journal articles, hand therapy reference book chapters and a new textbook on orthotic fabrication published by SLACK) with a Clinical Doctorate of Occupational Therapy focused in Occupational Therapy/ Hand Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Jennifer Chan currently works at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital as a pediatric hand therapist and pediatric OT.  She has been a pediatric OT for most of her 30+ year career. In her current position, she also works closely with the brachial plexus and epidermolysis bullosa clinic teams.
