Deborah A Schwartz, OTD, OTR/L, CHT is a hand therapist with over 39 years of experience in the field. She has worked for Orfit Industries America since 2007 to promote product awareness and education in orthotic fabrication. Debby teaches virtual and in-person orthotic fabrication workshops to university students, intermediate and advanced clinician and has co-authored a textbook on orthotic fabrication called Orthotic Design and Fabrication for the Upper Extremity: A Practical Guide. She has also created a virtual platform of orthotic fabrication courses called the Orfit Academy at www.orfit.com/academy. This platform contains over 20 courses on all topics of orthotic fabrication. Registration is free of charge.
