Jon Marion is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist employed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He received his BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of MN in 1987, and became a CHT in 1993. He previously worked at the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, WI for 30 years prior to moving to Nashville, 8 years ago. Throughout his career, Jon provided numerous in-services and presented at state OT association conferences. He has served as an Adjunct Clinical Lab Instructor at Marquette University for over 20 years, assisting in Gross Dissection and Kinesiology of the Upper Extremity—a continuing education course.
 
He has authored or co-authored articles or papers in the American Journal of Arthroscopy, OT Week, OT Advance, and the Medical Problems of Performing Arts Journal. Jon has been a chapter reviewer for chapters in a kinesiology text, and more recently a co-author for a soon-to-be-published kinesiology text, intended for occupational therapy students and professionals. Jon is married, and has four children and one grandchild. In his personal time, he enjoys hiking, camping, reading, listening to music, and playing his drums.

  • Implement Treatment Approaches and Addressing Central and Peripheral Sensitization.
